Philip Lawton received a Masters of Divinity from North Park Theological Seminary. He is an ordained minster in the Seventh Day Baptist Church. He and his wife are currently working on a church plant in Rogers Park Chicago.

Phil and Bethany Lawton moved to Rogers Park in 2021 after obeying God's call to plant a church. Bethany received a Masters of Information from Rutgers University. She works as an executive assistant for a non-profit in downtown Chicago.
