At SDB Chicago we believe that God moves and plants His people where they can ultimately flourish. If you are in the process of being moved by God, we want to invite you to see if Chicago is the place that He wants to plant you. As part of the trip you will experience the neighborhood of Rogers Park. The first day will be a background on the neighborhood and the people who live here. That will be followed up by several days of experiencing the ways that God is already working in Rogers Park. This could include going with Pastor Phil to the beach for Ask Me Anything or participating in another ministry of a local church. If you are here over a weekend not only will you see what Sabbath looks like in the city, but you may also get to worship with us and other Christians through Night Church. This work with other churches is important for us because the Kingdom of God is the only community where humans can truly flourish. We think that SDB Chicago can be an SDB expression of that kingdom community in Chicago, but the fuller picture of the Kingdom of God can only be seen through the church universal. Our prayer is that through this vision trip you will come to know the desire that God has for ministry in an urban context and possibly how He wants to draw you to be part of that ministry here in Chicago.
